What we do
We offer a wide range of technical and production services for commercial radio broadcasters big and small, including regional, local and community radio, RSL, University, School and hospital radio stations - both full or part-time. We supply broadcast equipment, and have expertise in all aspects of radio station and general broadcast engineering and maintenance, from making up leads to fixing headphones and blown bulbs - and on to major desk overhauls and component level fault finding, as well as designing one-off black boxes for individual station applications. We offer consultancy in all areas of radio station planning and licence application as well as technical design, studio and rack cabling - and equipment sourcing and installation to suit your needs - and your budget. Expertise also covers related broadcast services, operational, programming and production matters, and we can offer training in studio operations. Our experience covers all sizes of commercial stations - but today smaller stations are the fastest growing part of the radio landscape. If you already run or are working towards running a Community, RSL, Hospital, University or school radio station, we realise and appreciate very clearly that getting such stations from an idea to actual operation can be daunting. It can also be very frustrating if you have a pretty clear picture of what you want, but the means to actually make it happen is well outside your experience. We know too that once a small station is on air, it faces its own quite specialist set of financial, technical, operational and training challenges. So, whether you're taking the plunge for the very first time or you've done it all before, you're welcome to call us for advice, and we really don't mind if the questions are pretty basic. We can help wherever you get stuck in whats now becoming known as "small scale radio."
